ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth is a career coach and the founder of Summit Coaching Collective — a practice built on the belief that meaningful work is not a luxury, it’s a choice.

I was born in Riverside, grew up in Colorado as the oldest of four kids, and somewhere along the way developed a deep pull to serve people well. That pull eventually took me overseas in my twenties, where I spent six years doing nonprofit work across Bangkok, Manila, and Buenos Aires, co-directing schools, building local leadership, and becoming a mom for the first time in Thailand. That season shaped everything about how I show up today.
When I returned to the States, I walked into a staffing agency looking for work. Instead, the owner interviewed me and handed me an opportunity I wasn’t expecting. That unexpected moment launched a 15+ year career in recruiting, and I haven’t looked back since.

I spent years growing from temp and contract staffing into direct hire placement, falling in love with the challenge of finding niche, specialized talent for companies in construction, manufacturing, MEP, HVAC, and food production. I’ve partnered with Fortune 500 companies and regional powerhouses alike, and I’ve worked closely enough with hiring managers over the years to understand exactly what drives real hiring decisions at the highest levels. I know what gets people hired, what gets them passed over, and more importantly, what gets in their own way.

That insider knowledge is what I bring to every coaching engagement at Summit Coaching Collective.
Over time I started noticing a pattern I couldn’t ignore: talented, accomplished professionals were struggling not because they lacked ability, but because they couldn’t see themselves clearly, couldn’t articulate their value, or were quietly chasing the wrong thing. Summit was built for them

My life motto is “Push Back, Enjoy Life.” It wasn’t something I invented sitting comfortably. It came from seasons of real rebuilding, starting over with my two kids, navigating hard transitions, and choosing courage when it would have been easier to stay where I was. Those chapters taught me that resilience is a skill you grow, and that the best way to win against anything that has happened to you is to go out and live a full, brave, joyful life anyway.

Outside of coaching, my life is full in the best way. My daughter is an NCAA-bound athlete and 4A State Wrestling Champion heading to University, and watching her compete is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I enjoy spending time with my two kids in the beautiful Colorado mountains!

I rescued two horses, including my beloved Prince Edmond, an 18.2-hand Belgian Draft who taught me everything about showing up with patience, presence, and quiet strength. He left a legacy on my heart that I carry into everything I do.

And I take my lime green Jeep Wrangler onto Rocky Mountain trails that absolutely get my adrenaline going, because I believe that doing the hard thing and proving to yourself you can carries over into every other area of your life.
